Last month I pickup a 2001 Audi TT Black Roadster 225 Mk1. This entry is to document the progress on the Roadster. Car has 172,000 miles

Firstly, I came across this car on Craig’s list and was not looking for another car. Went out in the dark to check it out. After driving it I noticed that the turbo was not spooling up and got the car for under $3000. … Read More.

Upon getting my Audi TT last year, the one part that was missing was 1 valve stem cap with the original black TT on them. I had 3 of them and 1 missing. I tried to order them through online resources and kept getting Out-of-Stock messages from various suppliers most of them do not have a clear photo either. Eventually I found them on Ebay and snatched them up.

Today, I worked on restoring the faded out black plastic on the front end of the Audi TT (as pictured above). I was browsing a new Auto Zone that just opened in my neighborhood, and i came across a can of Meguiare’s Ultimate Black and thought to give it a shot. Read the can and it said that you might want to mask it off before spraying.
